Y-Ling Chi is a Senior Policy Analyst at the Center for Global Development, working on health financing, aid transition and the use of economic evaluation in Low and Middle Income Countries (LMICs). Prior to joining, Y-Ling was a technical advisor at Imperial College London, where she was the co-investigator of an economic evaluation of a quality improvement program targeted to HIV clients. Y-Ling has experience working in various appointments at the Global Financing Facility, the Organisation of Economic Cooperation and Development, the Global Fund to fight against AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria, the University of Geneva, and the University of Oxford. During those appointments, she worked on a wide range of topics, including economic evaluation, impact evaluation, resource allocation methods (both at the national and global level), priority setting and mental health financing.
Y-Ling holds a DPhil in Public Health from the University of Oxford, and an Msc in development economics and a Bsc in political sciences from Sciences-Po Paris.
